Help
How to read the board, sign in, and host a status page.
The board
The home page reads public status pages for the platforms people ship on. Each tile links to that service's own page. The board is cached for about a minute, then read again.
Make your own board
Make my own searches the public status pages we already read. Add the ones you want. The address stores that set, in a fixed order, so a bookmark opens the same tiles. The reading is the same cached board as the home page. Create an account to reorder the tiles or to change anything else on a board you can update.
Create an account with your email and a password, or sign in with the password you already set. You can email yourself a link instead. The link expires in 20 minutes. Open it on this site or in the phone app.
After you sign in, Make my own becomes Edit Dashboard on the free plan, or Dashboards on Team, Business, and Enterprise. Settings stays in the navigation. Set or change the password on Account. A link still works after a password is set.
Your status page
When you are signed in, the home page is your default status page. A free account hosts one page. Team, Business, and Enterprise accounts can host more than one, and you choose which page opens on the home page. The others open from their own links. A new page is private. Make it public from the dashboard when you want /status/… to work for anyone. Making it private again removes that public copy.
Creating a page opens Edit Dashboard. A plus on a section adds a tile to it. A pencil renames the dashboard, the description, and each section. An X removes a tile, or a section and every tile in it. Save keeps that order. A switch makes the dashboard public or private. On Team, Business, and Enterprise, Dashboards lists every page and each one has an edit button.
Watch another service
Add a monitor with a Statuspage JSON URL or an RSS feed. Monitors are polled every 5 minutes. A row is stored when the status changes. Confirmed subscribers are emailed then, while the page is public.
Email updates
Someone can subscribe from a public status page. They confirm with a link in the email. Subscribers are separate from user accounts. Each message includes an unsubscribe link.
Single sign-on
Business and Enterprise accounts can connect one identity provider from Settings. A Team plan does not include it. These guides walk through each provider.
